IVF Success Stories - Our Columbia and
South Carolina Families Tell Their Stories
At Advanced Infertility & Reproductive
Endocrinology Institute, we believe that IVF success
rates tell only half the story. To provide you with the other half, some of
the families we have helped over the years have graciously offered to share
their personal experiences with our clinic. These IVF success stories highlight
our dedication to our Columbia and other South Carolina patients.
“My Vasectomy Didn’t Mean an
End to Our Ability to Have Children”
Sergeant First Class Randall Taylor
and his wife, Captain Connie Taylor, had a change of heart. With two older
girls from a previous marriage and one younger girl of their own, Randall made
the decision to have a vasectomy in 2000. Both were near 30 years old at the

“I was up for officer training

IVF success rates are useful statistics

caring that cannot be measured in percentages or statistics, as reflected in
the IVF success stories of our Columbia area patients.

West Columbia. Another contributing factor was Kristin’s high FSH levels.
Advanced Fertility has a record of achieving success with high FSH patients
even when other clinics have turned these patients away. This gave the Youngs
additional hope… Read More
We perform our treatments one family at a
time. Individual attention creates individual IVF success stories, and each
story is important to our Columbia clinic.
“I Was Beginning to Think I Would
Never Get Pregnant”
Angela Nelis of Lexington spent three
years going through fertility treatments before a chance meeting by her husband
changed her fate.
After she and her husband George had
no luck conceiving on their own, her OBGYN put her on a fertility drug, often a
standard first step in treating infertility. With no results, Angela and George
turned to a Charleston-based fertility practice with a satellite office in
Columbia. The Charleston practice recommended artificial insemination. Two
procedures later, still no pregnancy… Read More
